Covid Response Policy
South Fraser Unitarians’ Covid-19 Policy
South Fraser Unitarians follow the guidelines of the CUC, B.C. Ministry of Health and WorkSafe B.C. to ensure the safety of our staff, congregation, and visitors.
In response to the COVID-19 health concerns, we are meeting online via the Zoom videoconferencing service. To join us, please complete the form found on Access Our Online Worship and you will be emailed access. We meet every Sunday at 1:30 – 230 pm. Newcomers (to our church or Zoom) are encouraged to join in about 15 minutes early to get set up, oriented and meet a few of our members.
On occasion, small in person gatherings may be arranged in outdoor settings. The number of participants will not exceed the allowable number according to Ministry of Health guidelines at the time of the event. Participants are required to maintain two metre physical distancing and wear masks when attending. Shared equipment, food, or drink will not be available; however, participants are welcome to bring their own.
A contact form will be completed for each event and be maintained for 30 days from the event. SFUC will provide the information to public health officials if required.
For staff or volunteers who require access to materials stored at Sunnyside United, please note the building is restricted at this time. An appointment must be made by phone 604 531-2979 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and you are asked to wear a mask when entering the building. To ensure the safety of everyone, please respect the protocols posted on the doors and inside the building entrances.
