So often, we think we know where we’re going… until we don’t. In such moments, we are called to recalculate and maybe even retool. In this service, our guest minister, Rev. Shawn Gauthier will reflect on what it means to recalculate as we travel through life.

Rev. Shawn Gauthier is the settled minister of the Vancouver Unitarians. Before moving to Vancouver last summer with his husband Bob, he served for sixteen years as senior minister of the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto. Originally from the U.S., Shawn began his undergraduate studies in the Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College, eventually completed a bachelor degree in religious studies at Harvard’s Extension School, and later received a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. He completed additional graduate studies in ritual, worship, and preaching at the University of Toronto.
