Going From Woke to Wise

There are far more woke people than ever before, yet we still struggle with conflict in this world, often with well intentioned woke people. It is not enough to be woke. We must cultivate wisdom, the practice of putting our knowledge into action and learning from our results. As the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh Teachings, contains wisdom from many traditions and cultures, in this spirit, we will be focusing on teachings from Passover, Easter and Vaisakhi, to explore how to shift from woke to wise. Participants are encouraged to be familiar with the history of Passover, Easter and Vaisakhi as the service will focus on the teachings rather than historical context.
