With Guest Minister Meg Roberts
Human beings resist the fact that we are mortal – we are born, we live, we die. In times of crisis (like we’ve experienced a lot over these last years), we are very aware of this fact and how interconnected we really are. How can we as Unitarians be prepared and live life to the fullest now? As we sing, “For all life is a gift which we are called to use to build the common good and make our own days glad.”
Rev. Meg Roberts has served congregations in various parts of Canada during the last 22 years: Edmonton, Montreal, Calgary, Comox Valley, and now with Beacon Unitarians in New Westminster and the Tri-cities area of Metro Vancouver. She also does community ministry using interactive theatre techniques with groups who want to deal with challenging social and organizational issues, and find practical solutions. She is glad to be back as a Sunday service guest minister with the South Fraser Unitarians.
This in-person only service (no online options) will be held at the Peninsula United Church, 15639 – 24th Ave, Surrey, BC at 3:30 pm. Food and fellowship to follow.
