The Things We Do for Love

Please join us on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 3:30 pm for an in-person, full sanctuary service with guest minister Rev. Shawn Gauthier. As the congregation reflects on the meaning of vulnerability in our lives this month, Rev. Shawn Gauthier, the newly-settled minister of the Vancouver Unitarians, will invite us through this service to consider how love calls us to be courageous in the face of vulnerability.

Rev. Shawn Gauthier is the newly settled minister of the Vancouver Unitarians. Before moving to Vancouver last summer with his husband Bob, he served for sixteen years as senior minister of the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto. Originally from the U.S., Shawn began his undergraduate studies in the Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College, eventually completed a bachelor degree in religious studies at Harvard’s Extension School, and later received a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. He completed additional graduate studies in ritual, worship, and preaching at the University of Toronto.

This service will be held at 15639 – 24th Ave, in the Peninsula United Church. Following the service you are invited to stay for fellowship, and refreshments. Soup and bread will be available, please feel free to bring a simple finger foods to share.
