Two Women’s Truths

Wisdom is available from so many sources when we keep our hearts open.

Come and enjoy the wisdom of Carrie Newcomer (singer/songwriter) and Anne Lamott (writer with an ironic sense of humour and great timing).

Unitarians and Pagans, with Louise Bunn and the Earth Spirit Group

Pagans hold a reverence for the Earth and all its creatures, generally see all life as interconnected, and tend to strive to attune one’s self to the manifestation of this belief as seen in the cycles of nature. The Wheel of the Year is a central concept, which can be seen as a metaphor for the cycle of a single life, from birth to death and also serves to remind us of our connection to the rest of the natural world. Today we will be turning the Wheel toward Samhain, and talking about the connection between contemporary Paganism and UUism, and how they inform, nourish, and enrich each other.

Reflections on Hope

Albert Camus wrote “In the midst of winter, I found there was within me, an invincible summer.” That is hope! Join us today as we share poems that reflect hope and what effect they have had on us.
