Speaker: Marcia Stephenson

Marcia Stephenson has been a member of North Shore Unitarian Church since the 1980’s. She has volunteered in many areas of congregational life, including Sunday services, family ministry, and adult programs. She sings in the church choir and has served as NSUC Board President twice.

Now a retired educator, Marcia taught high school English, created a resource program for teenagers with special needs, and coordinated a secondary school library. She served on the Eliot Institute Board and has attended many Eliot camps at Seabeck with her spouse Jim.

On the Enneagram

Drawing on ancient spiritual traditions, thinkers and therapists of the 20th Century developed a modern interpretation of the Enneagram, a system of understanding behaviour and motivation. During this brief introduction to the nine personality types, we’ll consider how this approach might lead to personal growth and improved relationships with family and friends.
